- He is the author of four books, Can God See Me in the Dark?, Will You Bless Me?, The Older Brother Returns and Unbound: A Practical Guide to Deliverance. Unbound is impacting Christians worldwide by helping them uncover God's plan for their lives.
- Neal has served as the director of Renewal and Reconciliation, an association of churches in the Greater Philadelphia region. He currently serves as the senior coordinator of the House of God's Light, an interdenominational Christian community, which he has pastored for over 30 years.
- Neal, a Roman Catholic, has a master's degree in religious education from Villanova University, where he also led an evangelistic outreach to college students for 18 years. Married since 1973, Neal and Janet have four sons and six grandchildren and reside in Ardmore, Pennsylvania.
